Ambassadors are locals who help new drivers get onto Droppa. You get a personal code, you help drivers in your area register, and you earn a reward for every driver who joins — funded by Droppa’s flat subscriptions, never by a driver’s fares.

How it works

From application to payout in four steps.

  1. Apply

    Tell us about you and the area you know. Our team calls you back to talk it through.

  2. Get your code

    Once you’re activated you get a personal ambassador code — like HRE-7K2M — and a share link for WhatsApp.

  3. Onboard drivers

    Drivers enter your code when they register in the Droppa app or apply on this site. You help them with the five registration steps and clear document photos.

  4. Get paid

    You earn a reward when a driver you referred is approved, and another when they make their first subscription payment. Payouts go to your EcoCash.

Rewards are tracked against your code in the Droppa app and paid by EcoCash once Droppa records a payout. Bonuses may be added for standout ambassadors.

0%Droppa is zero commission — drivers keep 100% of every fare. Ambassador rewards come from Droppa’s flat driver subscriptions, never from a driver’s earnings.

Ambassador FAQ.

Who can apply?
Anyone 18 or over who knows their city and the drivers in it — rank regulars, community organisers, mechanics, students, existing Droppa drivers. You’ll need a mobile number for EcoCash payouts. We start where Droppa is live in Zimbabwe and add cities as we expand.
Is this a job?
No. The ambassador programme is independent — you’re not employed by Droppa, there are no shifts, targets or salary, and you can stop any time. You earn rewards per driver you bring in, on the terms published on this page.
How are rewards paid?
Each reward is recorded against your code in the Droppa app. When Droppa records a payout, every pending reward is paid to your EcoCash in one go. Rewards are funded from Droppa’s flat driver subscriptions — never from a driver’s fares, which stay 100% theirs.
When do I get paid?
A reward becomes pending when a driver you referred is approved, and another when they make their first subscription payment. Droppa pays out pending rewards regularly, usually once you reach the minimum shown in your app.
Can I drive and be an ambassador?
Yes. Some of the best ambassadors are drivers already on Droppa — your ambassador code lives in the same app account, and the drivers you bring in don’t affect your own earnings.
